Angelina Jolie admits that she went to a red carpet event wearing a dress that one of her kids had just peed on

Even the world’s biggest celebs aren’t safe from the woes of parenthood.

IN AN INTERVIEW with AP News, Angelina Jolie shared some relatable anecdotes about life as a mother.

She showed up to her interview with ‘the familiar harried air of a parent who has just barely managed to withdraw from her children, all six of whom she’s left having breakfast upstairs in their Toronto hotel suite’.

She went on to tell interviewer Jake Coyle that her children were responsible for her poor punctuality.

The reason I was a little late is they made me change. They thought what I was wearing was too revealing.

Ouch. Imagine having every outfit judged by a panel of six children each day. There are no judges more honest than children.

However, it seems that Jolie’s children don’t just have a verbal input on her outfit choices. She told AP Toronto that moments before she was due to head to a very important event, one of her kids decided to urinate on her outfit.

I actually went to a premiere once with pee on me.
It was when the kids were little and I just got peed on at the last minute. There was nothing to do but wear it.

Possibly even worse than being peed on, she received this comment from one of her children:

My little boy who’s nine said he wants to train me because he thinks I’m out of shape.

She’s taking it all in good humour though. After the divorce she’s spending more time with her children than ever:

I’ve needed to take over a year off just to be with my kids. All I’ve done is some of my humanitarian work and my teaching. I’ve done nothing else for over a year. Now that they’re all older, the decisions really have to be made together.

She’s hoping to work with them on future projects as soon as they feel ready and has already worked with her 16-year-old son Maddox – he’s credited as an executive producer on her highly anticipated Netflix release ‘First They Killed My Father’.
